Every self-respecting TV armchair must of course have a footstool. When I designed one to go with Cooper I was inspired by the TV screens from the sixties with those rounded corners. The same shape recurs in the table set. The table top hovers over a simple but efficient cross support – two laser cut struts locked together by the pillar. At first there was just the little side table – “Can this have sales potential?“ we asked ourselves sceptically. But today there are 15 versions. That has made enormous demands on configuration.
